How does Kasva work?
Add your assets and debts, by hand or by snapping a screenshot, and Kasva shows your total net worth at a glance, along with history over time and a breakdown by asset type. Nothing leaves your device except the prices it looks up.
What is free, and what is Pro?
Free covers up to five assets and one screenshot import. Kasva Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks live stock prices, unlimited assets and debts, full history and charts, and CSV or JSON export. There is no subscription.
How do live stock prices work?
With Pro, you can attach a ticker symbol and the number of shares to a holding. Kasva then values it as shares times the latest delayed market price (roughly 15 minutes delayed). These prices are for information only and are not investment advice.
Does Kasva connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank login and no Plaid-style linking. You enter values yourself or with optional screenshot import, and you stay in control of every entry.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchase while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with.
Is my data backed up?
Your data stays on your device and, if you turn it on, syncs through your own private iCloud. You can also export a CSV or JSON file at any time from Settings and keep it wherever you like.

Overview
Kasva ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal net worth tracker. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We collect as little as possible, and nothing that identifies you.
What stays on your device
Your assets, debts, net worth history and personal notes stay on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, they are synced through your own private Apple iCloud database, which we cannot access. We run no servers that store your portfolio.
What is sent to price your assets
When you open the app, Kasva looks up current exchange rates, plus crypto, precious-metal and stock prices, from public market-data services (an open exchange-rate API, CoinGecko, metals.live, and Twelve Data through our own thin proxy). These requests carry only the symbols being priced, such as USD, EUR, BTC, XAU or AAPL. They never include your holdings, amounts, net worth, or anything that identifies you.
Screenshot import (optional)
Screenshot import is optional. Text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple Vision. Only the extracted text, never the image itself, may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to classify it into assets, and only after you explicitly confirm. You can always skip import and type values in by hand.
Purchases
Kasva Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Apple simply tells the app whether your Pro purchase is active.
Analytics & tracking
Kasva includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, no crash trackers, and no profiles. We do not sell your data. We have none to sell.
Children
Kasva is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

The balances, prices and figures shown in Kasva are for information only. They are not investment, tax, legal or financial advice. Market data, including stock prices, may be delayed by roughly 15 minutes and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify with an authoritative source before making any financial decision.
Purchases
Kasva is free to start, with a one-time Kasva Pro purchase that unlocks the full feature set. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The price is shown before purchase and may vary by region. You can restore Pro on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app or the service behind it, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may limit requests that appear automated or abusive in order to protect the service.
Availability
Kasva depends on your device, your internet connection, and third-party services such as Apple, the market-data providers, and our AI provider. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kasva and its developer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including any financial decision made in reliance on it. It is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
